Throughout our journey we’ve had the opportunity to work with extraordinary people, locals and internationals. Some of our collaborations include building puppets for the Dutch cabaret production, Club Cabaret, working with the London based puppeteer and director, Oliver James Hymans and also the extremely talented Christoph Levermann, from Germany. Both Christoph and Oliver taught us about puppet design, construction, and manipulation. We’ve also had the chance to collaborate with South African organisations such as NATi (Nasionale Afrikaanse Teater-inisiatief) and Remgro (Investment Holding Company).
NATi made it possible for us to showcase a theatre piece, Beloofde Land / Promised Land, that consisted of a group of 12 performers and a wide variety of puppets, including a six meter whale, 120 jellyfish, nine angler fish and a three metre manta-ray. The performers include the multi-talented choir from Khayelitsha, The Abonwabisi Brothers.
Remgro commissioned us to build a mobile puppet show in which we cycled to different schools for Bicycle Week, a week that celebrates the joy of cycling and the importance of being safe on your bicycle.
For us, collaboration is the opportunity of a mutual partnership and transfer of skills, knowledge and a deep rooted understanding of the self. We enjoy collaborating with all artists and we invite you to get in contact with us.
If you want to create, we are open to collaborate.
